My Crazy Quilt throw!

Why...spend money when you don't have to.  This blog is going to show you all of the fun projects you can knit and crochet by only using thrift shop or 2nd hand store yarns, tools and more.

I found the lovely yarn for this project at a local thrift store.  Each skein was only $2.00 and the yarn was brand new.  I knew I didn't have enough yarn to make a project that required more than one skein, but I thought it would work up nicely into granny squares for a fun....days gone by....look of a crazy quilt.

I collect vintage crazy quilts so I knew I would love making this project.  Here are the yarn colors.... aren't they pretty?  I started out by making my first granny square and I love how it turned out.

I have 2 more squares to make up and then I will post all of the "crazy" blocks I will be using for this throw!

 ta...ta...for now! Kathy Pardee
